Kristen Miller of Highlands, N.J., has joined Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore as Chief Development Officer. In her new role, Miller will grow all facets of the organization’s fund development efforts to include community and alumnae outreach, special events and planned giving. Miller has more than thirty years of experience in philanthropy in the areas of mental health, social services and healthcare. She has a long standing affinity with Girl Scouts and benefited first-hand from her experiences.
The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shores serves more than 10,000 girls ages 5-18 in Monmouth and Ocean County. It is the only organization utilizing time-tested methods and research-backed programs to encourage girls to develop their leadership skills.
