Nominations are now open for the Girl Scout of the Jersey Shore’s third annual Phenom Awards. The award honors emerging, young, female leaders under the age of 40 from Monmouth and Ocean counties.
Phenom Award nominees should be outstanding performers who understand the hard work and dedication necessary to be a success. The award not only recognizes young, professional women for who they are, but also for the potential for what they might achieve in their futures.
Nominations for the award can be submitted on the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore website. Nominees must be a resident of Monmouth or Ocean counties or be employed/affiliated with a business or organization located in Monmouth and Ocean counties. A nominee does not need to be a current or former Girl Scout, but she must be under age 40.
This year’s nomination deadline is Friday, May 18 at noon. Award recipients will be notified after that date. Award recipients will be honored at a special reception Thursday, September 13, at the Crystal Point Yacht Club in Pt. Pleasant.
