Summer Yoga Series


Calling all Jersey Shore Girl Scout Families! Join Jennifer Scamorza from Yoga University for a fun, summer yoga retreat.

The G.I.R.L. Power Summer Yoga Retreat is the perfect way for the family to connect. We will gain breath awareness, practice basic yoga postures, play games, learn relaxation techniques, and establish G.I.R.L. Goals---positive affirmations that will help us stay focused on our personal and community aspirations.

Yoga University's COREnerstones program was designed to empower participants to learn and thrive in a supportive climate. We offer fun and meaningful opportunities to grow, stay motivated, stay healthy, and to feel valued. All levels of interest and experience are welcomed and encouraged, especially beginners! 

Nature is the perfect backdrop for a relaxing yoga session, so class will take place outdoors (weather permitting). Dress should be cool and comfortable. Mats work well, but towels and blankets are a fun summer substitute when practicing outside.

This series is open to Girl Scouts and adults who are interested in participating.  All three programs will be held at the Program Activity Center in Farmingdale from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Those interested in attending all three sessions must register for each session individually.
