We understand travel is not a top priority right now. It is difficult to look ahead when the world is filled with great uncertainty. However, we continue to prepare for a future filled with opportunities for discovery and adventure.
Currently, all council trips are still scheduled as planned. We are in frequent contact with our travel partners and will provide updates as they become available. The safety of our Girl Scouts is our top priority and all decisions will be made with their best interests in mind.
In light of the extension of the Girl Scout Cookie Program, we have extended the Travel Scholarship deadline. The new application deadline is Sunday, May 3. All Girl Scouts who meet the qualifications and have registered for a trip are eligible to apply. Submit your application today.
In order to be considered for a Travel Scholarship, valued between $100 - $1000, girls must:
- Sell a minimum of $400 worth of product in Fall Sale
- Sell at least 500 boxes of cookies
- Be registered for a council-sponsored trip (or GSUSA destination)
- Be a registered member and be active in Girl Scouts
Also through that date, we have reduced the deposit required with trip registration. Through Sunday, May 3, you can register for a trip with only $100 down per person (decreased from $150 per person); the additional $50 is due by the end of the year. Additional deposits may be required by our travel partners for international trips. All prices/details subject to change.
We are currently accepting applications for the following Girl Scout trips as well as GSUSA Destinations.
