Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore have a wide variety of options to meet
your needs.
With convenient locations available in Monmouth and Ocean Counties, approximately an hour from both New York and Philadelphia, our three sites offer the potential for a wide range of activities.
Our indoor meeting spaces are appropriate for fewer than a dozen people to more than several hundred with many multi-media options available. Our outdoor space ranges from the rustic wild to the modern outdoors – nature combined with modern comforts.
We provide facilitators for all ur activities, including lifeguards for swimming, safety experts for the climbing wall, zip line, boating, team building or archery. We can provide someone to safely start a fire for you in a fire pit or charcoal grill or provide you with the phone number for a local restaurant that delivers pizza.

Anchored by a private, stream-fed lake, Camp Sacajawea consists of 140 wooded acres. Owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, Camp Sacajawea is located in Farmingdale, NJ less than 10 minutes from the Garden State Parkway.
Facilities are available to meet almost any need. From our Lakeside Cabin to yurts, to our numerous camp sites, Camp Sacajawea features property ranging from rustic and remote to modern with electricity.
Camp Sacajawea cabin is available for year-round use. You can schedule a wide range of activities during your time at Camp Sacajawea (seasonal offerings). Offerings include nature trails, a lake for boating, an outdoor swimming pool, archery, zip line, climbing wall, flying squirrel, mid-high and a challenge course. Trained staff facilitates all of our outdoor activities.
The Program Activity Center is located on-site at Camp Sacajawea. It is a great venue for weddings, family reunions, parties, events and more. It is available for rental seven-days a week, all year round. The entire building consists of 11,500 square feet of usable space, including a main room capable of holding 250-300 people, a smaller room and a catering kitchen which is available for use. A large drop down screen for a presentation is in the main room. A veranda with picnic tables features an outdoor porch area. Also available are outdoor fields for softball, soccer or field hockey, tennis and basketball courts.
Owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, Camp Amity Acres is located in New Jersey’s scenic pinelands near Waretown, New Jersey, minutes away from Route 72 and the Garden State Parkway.
The Ocean First Conference Center is located at the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore’s Ocean Service Center in Toms River. This room includes an LCD projector and screen, laptop computer, conference table and chairs.
The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore’s All Purpose Room at the Ocean Service Center is exactly what the name implies, a room available to meet almost any need. Recently renovated, the room features an LCD projector and screen, conference tables and chairs are also available. A recently updated kitchen includes access to a full size refrigerator, sink, oven and microwave. This room is suitable for everything from an organizational business meeting to a family party for a baptism or birthday.
