The Gold Award is the highest award that a Girl Scout can earn. This
workshop is
mandatory for all Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts
looking to earn the Gold Award.
Parents and advisors who wish to
provide support for their Gold Award candidate are
encouraged to
attend as well. Requirements, the submission process, and policies
will
be reviewed. This workshop focuses on the skills of project
management as well as
providing guidance on how to select a Gold
Award Take Action project that meets the
(newer) GSUSA criteria
of the award. Girls will also be shown how to navigate the Go-
Gold Online platform, where they will be submitting and working on
their Gold Award
project and paperwork.
This workshop is
mandatory for all Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts who wish to
earn
the Gold Award. Parents and advisors welcome as well.
Only Girl Scouts must register in advance. Parents and leaders are
welcome to attend,
but do not have to register.
