The Gold Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the world for
girls and is the highest award that a Girl Scout can earn. This
GoGold
workshop is mandatory for all Senior and Ambassador Girl
Scouts looking to earn the Gold Award. Parents and advisors who wish
to provide
support for their Gold Award candidate are highly
encouraged to attend. During the workshop we will discuss requirements
to earn the award,
the submission and approval process, as well
as policies. This workshop will provide guidance on how to select a
Gold Award Take Action
project that meets the (newer) GSUSA
criteria of the award and girls will be shown how to navigate the
Go-Gold Online platform, where they
will be working on their Gold Award project and submitting their
paperwork. Only Girl Scouts must register in
advance. Parents
and leaders are encouraged to attend, but do not have to register.
