Girl Scout beach lovers are invited to this 3-Day Summer program being held at the Sandy Hook beach, packed with fun activities from DAILY beach art projects with sand, sea shells, painting and more, DAILY yoga on the beach, water science projects and even a beach party with fellow Girl Scout sisters. Girl Scout patch lovers will also be happy to know that girls will receive 10 PATCHES!! Some are patch programs to be earned like our Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Rip Current Awareness patch or our GSJS How Does Water Shed Patch. Others include fun activity patches like Sand Art, Beach Yoga and Beach Fun. As Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore we are proud to teach about water saving, water safety and giving girls an opportunity to make a difference today. Current Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring a buddy to share the fun and make Girl Scout memories!
This program will be taking place at the newly renovated beautiful Spermaceti Life Saving Station and on the Sandy Hook Beach. Dress for the weather as we will be spending time inside and outside in the sand. A yoga mat and daily snack will be provided in the cost. A towel and refillable water bottle are also recommended. Please note that we will not be swimming due to safety concerns.
