Vermont 2025 NJEA Weekend November 6-9 Thursday - Sunday
Head North to see what The Green Mountain State has to offer! Join this bus trip north to see the sweets and sights of Vermont. Tour two sweet spots, the Pez Factory in CT and the Ben and Jerry's Factory, try a flavor (or two) in their scoop shop while taking a walk through their flavor graveyard. Learn a little about the history and government of Vermont with a stop at the Vermont State House in Montpelier and see a Museum of buildings and a collection of collections in the Shelbourne Museum, which includes a 1920s carousel (you can ride!), a railroad car from the 1890s, a lighthouse and a 220 foot sidewheel steamboat. No stop in Vermont would be complete without a trip to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, where we will learn how these cuddly companions are made. On the bus ride home, we will stop and stretch our legs at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site.
