Girl Scouts will meet friendly alpacas and get hands-on with an incredible variety of farm animals, discovering fun facts about how they live, what they eat, and how farmers care for them every day. From fuzzy and feathered friends to surprising animal encounters, girls will explore the farm up close while building curiosity, confidence, and compassion for animals. The excitement continues as participants dive into a creative eco-craft using soft alpaca fiber to make bird nesting balls. Using grapevine balls and natural materials, girls will create cozy nest helpers for local birds-then hang them up and watch as birds swoop in to collect their treasures. This high-energy program blends animal encounters, nature, and creativity into a memorable experience girls will be talking about long after the day is done!
