Amazing Women in History:  Florence Nightingale - Self-Guided Patch Program This self-guided Girl Scout program invites girls to learn about the compassion, determination, and groundbreaking work of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. Through activities and storytelling, girls will explore how Florence used courage, data, and kindness to improve medical care and save lives. Girls can move through the program at their own pace as they dive into themes of service, problem-solving, and using your skills to help others.  Participants are also invited to join an optional Zoom session on May 12th, where girls can share what they learned, discuss how Florence's legacy continues to shape healthcare today, and brainstorm ways they can care for their communities-just like "The Lady with the Lamp."  To begin your self-guided journey, register for the program and, once final, you will receive a PDF download of your activities.  Patches will be mailed to all registrants.

A zoom link will be sent that week for all who would like to attend the zoom option on May 12th so make sure to choose that option during registration.  Be sure to register for other programs in the series to continue exploring more Amazing Women in History!
