Amazing Women in History: Grace Hopper - Self-Guided Patch Program
In this self-guided program, Girl Scouts discover the brilliant mind and bold spirit of computer science pioneer Grace Hopper. Through activities and exploration, girls will learn how Hopper revolutionized early computing, championed problem-solving, and helped shape the technology we use every day. Girls can move at their own pace as they learn basic coding concepts and explore stories from Grace's remarkable life.
Participants are also invited to join an optional Zoom session on January 15th where girls can share their projects, discuss what surprised them most about Grace Hopper's legacy, and connect with others who are excited about STEM and innovation.
To begin your self-guided journey, register for the program and, once final, you will receive a PDF download of your activities. Patches will be mailed to all registrants.
