Amazing Women in History: Rosa Parks - Self-Guided Patch Program This self-guided Girl Scout program invites girls to explore the extraordinary courage of Rosa Parks and her pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement. Through stories and activities, girls will learn how one brave act of resistance helped spark powerful change. Girls can work through the program at their own pace as they dive into themes of fairness, bravery, and standing up for what's right. Participants are also invited to join an optional Zoom session on February 4th, where girls can share what they learned, talk about how Rosa's actions continue to inspire activism today, and discuss ways they can make positive change in their own communities. To begin your self-guided journey, register for the program and, once final, you will receive a PDF download of your activities. Patches will be mailed to all registrants.
