American Red Cross online training components must be completed before attending skills check. Learners complete online training modules BEFORE demonstrating skills for trainer in-person. Skills session is required to receive certification. Please bring a blanket as some of the skills will be performed on the floor. American Red Cross certification for Adult/Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid classes are offered to volunteers and Senior/Ambassador level girls through the council at a special discount price. The training fulfills GSUSAs requirement to provide a First Aider for troop meetings and specified activities in the Safety Activity Checkpoints. Certification lasts for 2 years.
