Get ready for back-to-school the smart way! Brownies will help a character they create, prepare for school-using a budget. Girls will shop for school supplies with play money, learn the difference between wants and needs, and discover thrifty ways to stretch their dollars. Along the way, they'll build confidence making money choices, practice problem-solving, and have lots of creative fun. This hands-on program supports financial literacy skills and can be used to earn the Brownie Budget Builder badge.
This program is designed for troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. There is no cost for adult registration. All adults attending must comply with GSJS's policies and procedures.
