Dive deep into how our government functions with special guest Mayor Thomas Emens of Jamesburg, NJ. As the generation of our future, girls will learn about presidents of our past through fun trivia games, debate topics important to them now, and imagine a campaign for their future. Mayor Thomas will discuss the importance of getting involved in local politics and his experience as a young person in elected office right after graduating from Princeton University.
This program is designed for troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. There is no cost for adult registration. All adults attending must comply with GSJS's policies and procedures.
