Can you keep from cracking along with your egg? In this action-packed STEM experience, Girl Scouts will put their problem-solving and leadership skills to the ultimate test in a fast-paced Egg Drop Challenge - with plenty of unexpected twists along the way! Each team will receive a set amount of "Egg Drop Dollars" and must strategically budget to purchase materials to protect their egg from a two-story fall. Planning ahead is just the beginning! Teams will spin a wheel to discover which mystery material they must use for their parachute, then pull a weather condition card to reveal what environmental challenge their design must withstand. When the silence buzzer sounds, girls must build in complete silence until it rings again. Finally, it's time for the big drop! Not only must their egg survive, they'll aim to land in a target for extra bragging rights. Girls of both levels will earn their Craft and Tinker Badges at this program.
