FirstEnergy Community Tree Planting Day
Join us for an exciting day of environmental stewardship and community service through the FirstEnergy Community Tree Planting Day. Thanks to the generous donation of trees from FirstEnergy, girls, families, and community volunteers are invited to help create a greener, healthier future by planting trees on our Girl Scout properties.
This hands-on event provides girls with an opportunity to develop leadership skills, learn about environmental conservation, and make a lasting impact on their community. Participants will work side-by-side with volunteers to plant and care for trees that will improve air quality, provide wildlife habitat, reduce stormwater runoff, and beautify our spaces for generations to come.
No prior experience is necessary. Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Training, tools, and planting guidance will be provided at the event. Whether you are passionate about the environment, looking for a meaningful service opportunity, or simply want to spend time outdoors while giving back, this event offers a rewarding experience for everyone.
