Step into the world of experimental art in this exciting, hands-on program inspired by the innovative work of Robert Rauschenberg. Girls will explore an alternative process by using mod podge to transfer magazine images on to canvas.

Through this creative experience, participants will learn how to layer imagery, texture, and design to create their own mixed media artwork. They'll experiment with placement, pressure, and composition as they transform simple prints into unique, expressive pieces. This process encourages creativity, problem-solving, and artistic exploration-no prior art experience needed!

Perfect for Girl Scouts who love to try new techniques, this program blends art, creativity, and a touch of science for a truly memorable experience. Each participant will leave with their own custom-designed artwork and a new appreciation for innovative artistic methods.

This program is designed for troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios. There is no cost for adult registration. All adults attending must comply with GSJS's policies and procedures.
