The Seeing Eye is a school training guide dogs and teaching blind/visually impaired people how their lives can be enhanced by using these wonderful dogs for almost 100 years. Girl Scouts will meet the future Seeing Eye guide dogs, learn about The Seeing Eye, the puppy raising program, guide teams, and how to interact when meeting service dog teams. During this program, the pups will be visiting a new location and practicing skills they are learning with their puppy raisers. After the presentation, people and pups will be able to interact with each other. Everyone will be able to pet the pups! Each session will host 50 Girl Scouts/Leaders and is geared specifically for the Girl Scout levels listed.

This event is FREE. Girl Scouts will receive a fun patch for attending this event. Girl Scouts are encouraged to wear their Girl Scout uniform - vest/sash/smock.

Location: Shore Pines Region - Bayville
