Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with sister Girl Scouts from Central and Southern New Jersey at this collaborative event hosted by the William Trent House.  Combine history, crafts and Girl Scout traditions in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration!  Trent House-led activities may include: guided tours of the historic William Trent House, site-specific archaeology exploration, colonial games and more!  Girl Scout-led activities may include: 1776 flag painting, 250th Anniversary S.W.A.P. creation, quill and ink pen making, corn husk dolls, butter churning station, snack stations featuring cornbread muffins made with freshly churned butter and Berry Fool (Cool Whip and blueberries) paired with a reading from A Fine Dessert: Four Centuries, Four Families, One Delicious Treat and more!  This program is designed for troops or individuals with an adult chaperone. Adult chaperones should also register for this event to meet Safety Activity Checkpoints youth to adult ratios.  All adults attending must comply with GSJS's policies and procedures.  Cost: $30/Girl Scout, $10/Adult Member, $5 additional for non-members     Facilitator: Melissa McBrearty  Location: Trenton, NJ  Special Event Patch   Non-members can register and try out this program and experience Girl Scouts in a fun way.
