Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with sister Girl Scouts from Central and Southern New Jersey at this collaborative event hosted by the William Trent House. Combine history, crafts and Girl Scout traditions in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration!
Trent House-led activities may include: Guided tours of the historic William Trent House Site-Specific Archaeology Exploration Colonial Games And more! Girl Scout-led activities may include: 1776 flag painting 250th Anniversary SWAP Creation Quill and Ink Pen Making Corn Husk Dolls Butter churning station Snack stations featuring cornbread muffins made with freshly churned butter Berry Fool making (Cool Whip and blueberries) paired with a reading from A Fine Dessert: Four Centuries, Four Families, One Delicious Treat And more!

The journey toward this historic milestone is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.
America250 invites everyone to take part in this national commemoration — through local events, shared experiences, and opportunities to reflect on the country’s past and future.
