Want to participate in one of our Girl Scout programs but none of the session times work for all the Girl Scouts you know who are interested? Now, you can choose from a la carte from a list of fun and exciting programs. It’s simple and easy!

Programs By Level

Daisy Programs

Automotive Design Badge

Test your imagination and create your very own dream car in different ways with this hands-on car creation kit. We will learn to design an automobile together! This program can be run virtually or in person at either of our Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore council service in Farmingdale or Toms River. Social distancing guidelines will be strictly followed. $15 per girl

Boating Sampler

Head out onto the lake at either Amity Acres or Sacajawea and learn how to paddle a canoe!  $11 per person
(1.5 hours, April to November)

Cupcakes for the Season

For a program in October or November, themes will be Halloween, Thanksgiving, and autumn colors. Winter themes, for programs in December or January will be Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or winter inspired colors. Note: December will be the only month that also qualifies for the Monthly Theme Patch for being Spirit of the Season. For programs in February, the theme will be Valentine’s Day. St. Patrick’s Day and Easter will be the themes for March. April’s themes will offer a choice of Easter again, Earth Day, or spring or floral inspired designs. A different seasonal patch will be provided for each of the seasons outlined above. Girls can enjoy this program either virtually, or with us in person at either of our Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore council service centers in Farmingdale or Toms River. Price includes fun patch, 4 cupcakes per girl, cake boxes, decorating supplies/tools, and the program facilitator to guide you. $16 per girl

Teamwork and Teamplay

Learn teamwork, communication and leadership all through games and play!  $10 per person

Archery Introduction

Learn how to aim and shoot a bow and arrow!   $12 per person

Are you ready to paddle your own canoe? First, learn boating safety, including types of life jackets, parts of the boat, and how to paddle. Soon enough, you'll feel comfortable on the water and you'll ready to cruise! $11 per girl

Clean Ocean Action Patch Pack

Water, water everywhere? Where does that water go, and what does it carry with it? Along with Clean Ocean Action, learn about watersheds, where your rain gutter goes, and how pollution in your own front yard can affect animals in the ocean! $12 per girl

First Aid for Brownies

Learn basic first aid as you earn your First Aid badge.  Gain the skills needed to take action in an emergency, such as how to apply a bandage and help a choking person.  Learn what belongs in a first aid kit and create your own kit to take home.  $15 per person

Household Elf

Keep our planet clean without using chemicals? Make a natural cleanser, a natural air freshener and a piece of recycled art. We will also learn how to save energy and water.  $14 per person

Letterboxer/Hiker

Earn two badges as you learn about maps, compasses and letterboxes. You’ll also hunt for hidden letterboxes on a hike.  $16 per person

Snacking with Brownies

What better way to earn a badge than by eating and slurping our way through earning? Brownies can do just that while earning the Snacks Badge. This program can be enjoyed virtually or in person following social distance guidelines. Supplies can be picked up at either of our service centers. $15 per girl

Teamwork and Teamplay

Learn teamwork, communication and leadership all through games and play! $10 per person

Geocacher

Discover the sport of Geocaching; a sport which combines technology with a scavenger hunt. Access geocache locations online and learn how to use a GPS receiver, or a cell phone, to find them. Make SWAPS to leave at a geocache site, and start your very own geocaching adventure!  $12 per person

Silver Award Workshop

The Silver Award is the highest award a Cadette Girl Scout can earn in Girl Scouting. Our mandatory workshop is catered to girls, but we encourage adults (parents and leaders) who wish to be supportive of their girl to attend as well. We will review the requirements for this award and answer your questions. The Silver Award Take Action Project is challenging; this workshop will also teach project management skills including meeting deadlines and building a team. $5 Per Girl

Whipping Something Up with Juniors

Juniors jump into the kitchen with recipes to make simple meals and earn your cooking badge! Juniors are empowered through this Simple Meals Badge, that can be done virtually by girls picking up the supplies and being guided to complete via virtual Zoom meeting, or can be done in person following social distancing procedures at the Program Activity Center in Farmingdale. $15 Per Girl

Archery Badge

Gold Award Workshop

This workshop is mandatory for all Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts looking to earn the Gold Award. Parents and advisors who wish to provide support for the Gold Award candidate are encouraged to attend as well. Requirements and policies will be reviewed. This workshop focuses on the skills of project management as well as providing guidance on how to select a Gold Award Take Action project that meets the (newer) GSUSA criteria of the award. Girls will also be shown how to navigate the GoGold Online platform, where they will be submitting and working on their Gold Award project and paperwork. $5 per girl

Night Climb

Don a headlamp and reach for glow sticks as you climb the wall.  $17 per person
