Attentive Energy, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC, is delivering offshore wind opportunities to empower communities today and tomorrow. Attentive Energy is developing an 84,332-acre area located approximately 42 miles from its nearest point to New Jersey. When completed, the project has the potential to generate 3,000 MW of clean energy to power nearly 2.2 million homes.

”Attentive Energy is thrilled to announce our new program that supports the Girl Scouts in their efforts to excel in STEM education with a focus on clean energy. By encouraging and empowering young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math, we hope to inspire the next generation of leaders in the field of sustainable energy,” said Damian Bednarz, Managing Director, Attentive Energy. “Through this program we are committed to providing future female leaders with the resources they need to succeed, and we look forward to seeing the incredible impact they will have on clean energy and the environment.”

“Philanthropic giving to organizations that specifically serve women and girls represented less than 2% of all donations last year. This donation and partnership will accelerate our ability to provide girls with the tools and mentorship to make a difference in their communities and to make the world a better place. We are incredibly grateful for Attentive Energy’s commitment to supporting and uplifting young women,” said Heather Coburn, Chief Executive Officer, Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.

James Daly, Mayor of Farmingdale commented, “When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved. I’m very happy for the partnership between my friends at Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore and Attentive Energy to support young women and to further the mission of Girl Scouts.”
